Wow!  You guys are experts now!

Youe learned all about the different types of rescues, and all about Animal Transport Volunteers and how they rescue animals everyday.

Now, Let’s Take a Fun Break!

There are two little animals squeaking next to me!   They think they deserve their own page!  They are telling me that THEY are the best pet in the world!

They think they are better than dogs, cats and horses!  They are hopping all over the place trying to get my attention, so let’s take a Play Break and see who they are!

Volunteers that Drive Animals from Shelters to Rescues so they can find a new Home!

Here’s a new book that your Parent might be interested in.  It’s about Animal Transport Volunteers.  These are people who pick up animals from a shelter or pound, and transport them (drive them) all over the country to a place where they can be adopted and cared for.

Sometimes, shelters and pounds are full, and rescues are willing to take them, but the dogs and cats have to find a way to get there!

I bet you never realized how many different ways grownups and kids can volunteer to help animals!

Maybe one day, when you get older, and have your own car, you too might want to be an Animal Transport Volunteer, and help rescue animals!

If you think your Parent would like to buy a copy of this book, Fifteen Legs.  Just click on the picture and they can buy it on Amazon.
